For Ashburnham Select Board
Voting Day April 25th 9:00am-8:00pm
JR Briggs 96 Williams Road
A New Voice
As a candidate for Ashburnham’s Select Board, I am eager to work hard for all residents of Ashburnham!
My vision for our town is one where every voice is heard and every opinion valued. I believe in the power of community and I am committed to promoting transparency and accountability in our local government.
If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that our town is fiscally responsible with our tax dollars and constituents concerns are addressed. Our roads, our open space, supporting existing businesses, and bringing new business to town are all top of mind.
I have been a resident of Ashburnham since 2009 and a life-long Massachusetts resident. Ashburnham’s excellent school system, open spaces, playgrounds, and close-knit community felt like the perfect place to raise a family. I am proud to call Ashburnham home!
Professionally, I am in the corporate event industry, previously owning my own business for more than fifteen years. I am also a Chapter Director for a non-profit organization, The Cure Starts Now, raising money to fund pediatric brain cancer research. I have volunteered in town as a Girl Scout leader and at JR Briggs Elementary School.
While I am new to town politics, I feel my previous life experience will allow me to be successful as a Select Board member. I am proficient at budget management, decision-making, problem-solving, using resources efficiently and effectively, and am able to see the broader context of situations.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve Ashburnham on the Select Board. I humbly ask for your support, your trust, and your vote in the upcoming election. Together, we can make our town an even better place to call home.
